Muddy Mountain

We've been in Casper a little more than a week now and there are few notable pros and cons.

We should probably start with the cons:

1- We still don't know anyone. Brad probably wishes he had someone to go play with him while I'm at work.

2- One of our neighbors smokes and every once in a while we get the smell of smoke lofting into our apartment. If anyone has any great suggestions for getting ride of smoke odor I'd love to hear them.

3- We get a rude awakening at 4:00 in the morning when the garbage man comes crashing through. Maybe this is to help us prepare for a baby in 8 weeks who will probably wake us up during the night as well.

And the amazing pros:

1- With boards out of the way Brad is always ready to go do something. It's been a long time since we've been able to spend this much time together.

2- We've already been able to go hiking, biking, swimming and we are still finding more to do. As long as this kid in my belly cooperates.

3- Everyone is so friendly. Random strangers will introduce themselves and I hear the phrase "God Bless You" at least 12x a day.

4- We are within 7 hours from home and we don't have to drive through Nebraska to get there.

And on that note I should mention our wonderful 4th of July (or should I say 5th of July, I love working at a bank and having paid holidays.)

We headed up to Muddy Mountain for a little cookout and a bike ride. We were then lucky enough to find a pretty fun single track bike trail.

So if anyone wants to yonder through Casper Wyoming we promise to find some fun things to do.
