NEWBORN: From the very beginning Maven has been a happy very laid back baby. He was always peeing on himself, he loved his bath and rarely cried he mostly just grunted. He had to have several bilirubin tests and was always a champ no matter how many times they pricked his heel.
He has always been awake and alert with an eagerness to learn and grow.

1 MONTH: By one month old Maven had already been camping for the first time, he was very patient with his mom and dad. He was a pretty good sleeper. He never took really long naps and he was still waking up 1-2 times a night but he always ate and went right back to sleep.

2 MONTHS: Maven had already been to 5 states; Wyoming, South Dakota, Idaho, Utah and Colorado. He was blessed in Smithfield Utah at his Grandma and Grandpa Oliverson's home. He was lucky enough to have 4 Great Grandma's, 3 Great Grandpa's, all 4 grandparents, all 12 Aunts & Uncles, and all 15 cousins there.
He went on his first family vacation to South Dakota and had to go to Denver, Colorado to see a Pediatric GI Specialist and have more testing due to continually elevated bilirubin levels.
He also was able to hike Flat Top with his Mom, Dad, and Grandpa Oliverson (he may be the only 2 month old to go there.)

3 MONTHS: Maven had his first hair cut, his mean mom decided his wings were getting too long and it was time to even things out a little. By this time his personality was really starting to show. He started to become quite the flirt learning to smile on cue and goo at all the right times. He knows how to get the crowds going. By three months his bilirubin levels finally dropped and he lost his yellow complexion.

4 MONTHS: Still an extremely happy and easy going baby. He rarely cries or fusses. He went back to Idaho and Utah for Christmas and was spoiled by his grandparents. This is when he decided he really liked to play with loud bright toys.
This is also when his mom started working full time again and of course he handled it like a champ. He loves his babysitters and being able to be around other kids all day.
5 MONTHS: His personality really started to shine through. He started sitting up by himself. And will keep himself entertained just sitting and playing with toys. He's getting stronger everyday and gaining a lot more hand eye coordination.
He loves his dad so much and loves being tossed around by him. His eyes light up every time he sees him and he is easily distracted when Dad is in the room. Dad is even more important than MILK :)

6 MONTHS: I look at him and can't believe how much he has grown and how fast time has flown. He has always been so anxious to learn new things and he is so proud of himself when he finally catches on to something new. He still doesn't roll over but he has being sitting like a pro. He can hold his weight on his hands and knees in the crawling position but doesn't quite have the motion down, instead he pushes himself backwards and gets frustrated because his toys are getting further away not closer.
He is eating solids and loves everything but rice cereal. Carrots are his favorites (what a strange kid, he'll take vegetables over fruits any day) He is still quite the entertainer and is excellent at distracting our Sunday School class.
Weight 16 lbs 3 oz

We couldn't be more proud and in love with this little man.
