Maven is only 14 months old and he has already been more places than I had at 18 years. I figure he's been to at least 14 states and probably driven through more than that. Sad thing is he probably wont remember or appreciate any of it.
We couldn't stand being away from Brad any longer so Maven and I packed our bags and made our way to West Virginia. Maven did awesome on the plane but wore me out. The flight attendants were great and made sure we had plenty of room. On the first plane they moved us to the back so we could have all three seats to ourselves. Maven took advantage of being close to the attendants and mooching as many cookies as possible. He knows how to flirt and get exactly what he wants.
Brad picked us up at the Charleston airport. Maven was so excited he ran right up to Brad and stopped about two feet in front of him, cauked his head and just stared. In Charleston, Maven made some new friends and enjoyed playing at the Clay Center.
Brad finished his rotation in Charleston and had a few more days before we needed to be in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania so we detoured through Washington DC to see my Cousin Jill and her family. They gave us the grand tour of DC.
Right now we are in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania trying to get a feel for this city and see if it's a good fit for our family.
